We are looking for partners to validate Lantern DSSE with us, finish it as a product, and build a business on it
Lantern DSSE is open source under Apache-2.0 and is currently at the Experimental stage, for evaluation. We are looking for partners to run technical validation with us in real environments, fix what it finds and finish DSSE as a product, and build businesses on it together.
What we want to do with partners
Technical validation
Run DSSE in real environments with identity providers, endpoints, internal applications and existing networks, and check how it behaves, including when something fails. Record what was verified, in a form that can be published.
Improvement and productisation
Fix what validation finds, together, and take DSSE from Experimental to a product ready for production use. The conditions it has to meet are on the Status page.
A business built on DSSE
Offer services and products built on DSSE as the partner's own business, with the partner deploying and operating it for customers.
Where things stand
The current public release (0.4.0) is an Experimental release for evaluation, accepted for fresh installations only. It is not certified for production use. We intend to set up a certified partner programme in due course. Until then, the form of cooperation, costs and any public announcement are agreed individually with each partner.
You can use it free of charge without becoming a partner
Using DSSE needs no agreement with us, wherever you run it and however many organisations or endpoints it serves. You can also deploy and operate it for customers as a service. Under the terms of Apache-2.0, which include keeping the licence text and copyright notices, you can modify and redistribute it.

Paid support
If you need help from Lantern Networks, such as designing a deployment, evaluating DSSE in your environment, or answering questions while you operate it, we provide it for a fee. The scope and cost are agreed individually once we understand your environment and what you need.
